On this site you will find relevant assessment information, due dates, samples, artist models etc - anything that will help you in the production of your coursework. Updates will appear in order with most recent at top and the most up to date version of the Assessment Schedule is at bottom of page.
UPDATE20 May: Please check the Homework tab to see what homework tasks are required this week and two due dates (for the current collage project and preparation for the next project).
UPDATE 20 March: I will not be at school today. Your instructions are: TASK 1: Gather previous Portfolio Pages (1 and 2) - look in the blue folder and in the blue shelves. Scan each page (while you are waiting to scan you may start Task 4). Located the scanned file on my computer (Common Drive - SCAN - C4.2). Change the file name eg Task1_Name (insert your own name). Copy images to a USB or email the images to yourself. You may photograph images if scanning pages is taking a long time. TASK 2: Open your Wikispace page and create a new page title Portfolio Pages. Upload photos of Portfolio pages to Wikispace. TASK 3: Download the self assessment checklist from the Documents Page on IGCSE Art Wikispaces. Complete self-assessment for Task 1 and 2. Save file and include name in title. Email the self assessment to mrs_lee@me.com TASK 4: Read over the requirements on the self-assessment checklist for the Jim Dine Portfolio page and work on completing these tasks. TASK 5: Rework previous portfolio pages. TASK 6: Gather prints - you should have a trial black print, a final black print and a coloured print. Remove staples and seperate from additional paper. Write name on back. TASK 7: Read over checklist criteria for Task 4: Printmaking and begin to prepare tasks for a Monoprinting Portfolio Page. BY THE END OF THE LESSON YOU MUST:EMAIL COMPLETED SELF ASSESSMENT FORMS HAVE UPDATED WIKISPACES WITH IMAGES OF PORTFOLIO PAGES 1 & 2 UPDATE 28 February: I recieved emails from 7 of you with your selected Jim Dine images and have printed the images and entered a completion grade on engrade. Thank you to those of you that met this deadline. Those of you that did not email an image must still email an image but you are now responsible for printing this yourself - you must bring the printed image to next class - it should be no bigger than 1/4 of an A4 page. UPDATE 25 February: I have updated the Homework Page, please check and complete before next lesson.
UPDATE 13 February: I have updated the Homework page with information on dues dates for Portfolio Pg 1: Natural Forms and Portfolio Page 2: Flora. Please check due dates and ensure you meet all deadlines. It is expected that you will complete tasks set in class for homework and will be required to do so in order to meet deadlines and produce work to the standard required at this level.

UPDATE 22 September: Check out this awesome website http://www.doodlersanonymous.com/. This is a place for all doodlers to unite - share work, enter competitions and generally be inspired by the awesome work of doodlers around the world. Check out the toilet paper monsters faces:
This could be an awesome extension of the monster doodle project! You could extend this onto other objects, not just toilet paper rolls - different sized paper rolls, paper mached jars or bottles........

There are a lot of cool images, you may get some ideas for work or just look at new artists and cool stuff! I will be adding to this so check it regularly. You may look through all of the folders, there is also a specific folder for 9 IGCSE Art that has the Artist models we are looking at, at this stage this is only for Unit 1 but I will continue to add to this over the course of the year.
